Allmählich wird das Live-8-Festival immer mehr zum Skurrilitätenkabinett. Nach der Pink-Floyd-Reunion soll es nun allen Ernstes auch noch eine Auferstehung der Sex Pistols geben!

The News of the World claims that Bob Geldof contacted the former band members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock and Paul Cook two weeks ago, but they finally accepted the invite over the weekend.
A source told the newspaper: “The others said ‘Yes’ straight away but Johnny took his time. He knew the rest of the band had given the reunion the green light so in the end he agreed.
“No one ever thought they would see the day that the Sex Pistols would reform. But because Live 8 is such a special event it has made it possible. And it wouldn’t have been the same without Johnny.”” (Quelle: digitalspy.co.uk)

Also Mythos kann man hier doch eh nicht mehr putt machen, nach Dschungel-Camp und so weiter. Ausserdem hatten sich die Pistols doch eh schonmal Ende der 90er / um 2000 rum für eine Tournee wieder zusammengetan, oder?
